Another mapping website! Our newest player on the mapping circuit is Neighboroo. This time the spin is pretty colors superimposed on a Google Map to denote specific demographic information. Traffic Reports

Trafiic reports on the radio bug me. They are NEVER correct! Well, except when they are generalizing which is easy to do in most major cities. You know what areas of the city are busy EVERY DAY at the SAME TIME. It is when they get into detail about specific accidents that bothers me. There have been several occasions that I have been on the highway during the traffic report here in Cincinnati and the traffic reporter is telling the listening audience about a traffic accident at the very location I am at. I look around, up, down, behind and in front and THERE IS NO ACCIDENT. This has happened to me several times. There are traffic cams on all our major interstates through the city, do these reporters not have Internet access to look at them? What other duties do traffic reporters have other than to monitor police radios for traffic accidents? I know I am being a bit sarcastic in assuming they do nothing else, but I swear they have no credibility to me and the businesses that buy advertising that is played "This traffic update is brought to you by..." need to ask for a refund. Maybe its cheap advertising since the traffic reporter is only telling us something we already know, traffic is slow at the major arteries between 7-9 and 4-6 EVERYDAY and they are making up fake accidents to report.
